The Story Behind iToolForge
Welcome to iToolForge! My name is Gauri. After earning Master’s degrees in both Computer Science and Arts, I spent years working within the corporate IT industry. During my time there, I constantly ran into the same roadblock: everyday digital tools needed to perform routine formatting and math were either locked behind expensive monthly subscriptions, or the free alternatives were so cluttered with ads and dark UX patterns that they were frustrating to use.
Life eventually led me away from corporate tech to prioritize my family. Today, alongside being a mother and partner, I channel my energy into our family-run school where I guide young students and help prepare them for an AI-driven future.
My passion for building software remained as strong as ever. iToolForge is my creative anchor. It is built to refine clean UI/UX designs and give back to the web community. I wanted to create a fast, accessible workspace where students, creators, and professionals can access free digital utilities without paywalls, registrations, or invasive server-side trackers.
Beyond the Code
When I am not fine-tuning client-side algorithms like our live Age Calculator or real-time Word Counter, I immerse myself in the arts and continuous learning. Overcoming personal health challenges reinforced the importance of resilience—an energy I bring into testing recipes in the kitchen, reading, and painting on canvas.
